... if you're looking for emergency hang point(s) vs. tether, this is what I did in the days BN ("before Nomics", thanks to that gear whore Grammy - hey, Grammy! Hope things are well with you!)
It's 5 or 6 mil accessory cord threaded through the 'normal' hang/wt bearing point from the leash clip. Keeps weight over intended part of shaft, limiting shifting of the point, blah blah blah. Pretty sure the cord's rating is as stout as the hardware holding the clip to the tool. Still can use leashes if desired.
Anyway, just my take. YMMV. I assume no liability to you or the executors of your estate (grin).
