Who are these old climbers?
« on: October 31, 2013, 09:38:56 AM »

I just stole this photo off the net. Taken a few days ago.

In my opinion, this iconic photo is striking from an artistic point of view, but also from the perspective of 2 great climbers of their generation. I feel so lucky to have known and climbed with both these guys.

I bet only a few here will be able to identify both of them.

Nope.

It will be fun to see who identifies both of them.

I'm sure the younger generation will not care or not have a clue.

John--- You got one of them!

The other guy will probably be much more difficult.

I kind of knew the other guy was Bridwell I just couldn't quite make out the profile (my eyes are going). I should have known as I climbed a number of times with him in the 90's when we were both repping for the same company. We actually climbed very little and partied quite a lot as we usually would get together at the Outdoor Retailer Shows.

Steve,

Unfortunately Jim may have indulged a little too much over the years, if you know what I mean. Ha, Ha
