Ward's Rumney guide is available as an app. There is also http://www.mountainproject.com/ which offers an app. There is a lot of NE route information there and it keeps growing. I tend to not wealk around with a phone glued to my face so like paper guidebooks, but electronic ones are obviously the way of the future. They can be continually updated and you could have hundreds of guidebooks all in the palm of your hand.

I have heard such chatter a friend has been spending a ton of time up there and was contemplating taking on the task.  Weather he does or not remains to be seen. ;)  Also I would get the Ed Websters guide just to have it in the collection.  A lot of history in there.   My first guidebook to North Conway that I was given was Maroon in color and was a little thinner than the ones floating around these days!

Is there a guide other than Webster's 2nd that has the stuff on Willard in it?

John, you're correct in suggesting Webster's first guidebook... Just flipped thru my copy and he has 3 1/2 pages on Mt Willard.
