American Alpine Club North Conway Craggin' Classic September 12-14

American Alpine Club North Conway Craggin' Classic:
Join the American Alpine Club for the annual North Conway Craggin' Classic hosted at the Glen Ellis Campground about 10 minutes north of Cathedral Ledge! The weekend will consist of a great lineup of clinics taught by local guides with athletes like Freddie Wilkinson, Majka Burhardt, Kevin Mahoney, Ian Osteye and more!

Join us Friday night at the campground for a pig roast and live music! On Saturday and Sunday enjoy delicious pancake breakfast from Bagels Plus, Gear Doc and International Mountain Equipment before heading out for clinics and climbing! After clinics, enjoy the vendor village, games from OR and CAMP, burrito dinner, beer, raffles, gear giveaways, and slideshows from local climbing heroes! On Sunday come out and give back by participating in the stewardship project.

Friday, September 12
5-6pm: Check-in, registration, set up camp

6-9pm: Yankee Pig Roast Dinner, Siilent Auction, Live Music!
Come out and enjoy a pig roast dinner, bid on some great auction items, and enjoy live music (band TBD). Tickets for the evening activities are $15, or included in the Weekend Pass. They are available online or at the door.

Saturday, September 13
8-9am: Pancake Breakfast brought to you by Bagels Plus, Gear Doc and IME.

8-10am: Vendor Village and Gear Demos
Come check out the latest gear from our wonderful sponsors, including CAMP, OR, La Sportiva, Sterling Rope, Mountain Hardware, and more!

8:30am-2pm: Skills Clinics with local guides and professional athletes
Clinics are $75/day. Online pre-registration required. Meet at Glen Ellis Campground at 8:30 am. Clinics include Crack Climbing Technique, Self Rescue, Trad Protection & Anchors, Trad Climbing Technique, Women's Trad Climbing, Huge Days with a Light Rack (multi-pitch systems), Light & Fast Alpinism

9am-12pm: Volunteer Stewardship Project
Join a crew of volunteers to give back! Details TBD.

4:30-6:30pm: Gear demos, Vendor Village Activities, Games, etc.
Return your demo gear and hang out for games/contests with our sponsors. Opportunities to win great prizes from OR, CAMP, etc.! Salewa will be out in full effect with their table bouldering. Expect big prizes for the winner!

6:30pm: Burrito Dinner from the Big Love Mexican Diner

7pm 9:30pm: Local Hero Entertainment
Exact details still TBD, but we guarantee it will be full of amazing stories from local New England climbing heroes. This won't be your average slideshow -- we want to hear your stories too! Prizes for the best short story!

Sunday, September 14
