With the rain, and high temps, what will be the state of the ice tomorrow?

Rain should be ending in MWV soon after 1am with a nighttime low around 34 degrees. Low elevations will obviously have taken the greatest hits (North End, Champney, Black Pudding). Higher in the notches an inversion is still in place. 50 degrees right now at the Cog Base Station!

That said, higher summits should get down to upper 10ís tonight, so I donít think the gullies that have formed up there will take much of a hit (though wet slabs, bursting ice dams, and wet point release are a serious concern)

The real question in my book is how Franks will handle this, and Iíll be heading there tomorrow to find out! Wonít be hanging out under and delaminated ice or daggers tomorrow, but think the some of the fatter routes should be OK...

High temps alone won't kill it. High temps with wind will.
