Things i have learned
« on: April 15, 2014, 07:36:15 PM »

Today i learned to tuck the daisy between your legs and clip it into the rear of your harness..(and you can touch yourself)..I learned that cold shunts suck even more than I thought.I learned that 9.5mm ropes do hold falls.

My buddy learned that i am very particular are about bolting..belaying and knots..he bought the beers

Oh yeah..i still do very awesome trundles   :-*

I have seen this done once or twice.  I dunno...  I do not think I will be an early adopter of this, er, advanced technique.

I got hooked on the purcell prussick some years ago. I've always passed it between my legs and clipped to the rear of my harness.

My friend rigs his between the legs. I'm far too aware of my inabilities and know one day I'd clip it too tight and take a hard fall, ouch.

Daisy chains? Sport climbing? What? Even for new routing I have never had the need for one.

The original Whillans harnesses were tough like that and left many a man speechless.
