Hey, danf, since you're a hunter, hopefully your docs have included a tick panel to rule out Lyme, ehrlichia, anaplasmosis and looked at other arthropod-vector dzs.

Keep cool, get sent home ASAP.

Yep, tick borne stuff is on the list. They are also testing for histoplasmosis which is a Midwestern fungal issue. Doc swabbed way back inside my nose today to test for viral stuff. Some of the tests are going to take a few days to come back.

Looking like I'm staying here at least until Monday. Docs still haven't figured out what's causing my fevers and I had another decent one early this morning.  :(

I have certainly come to that conclusion, John.

Got put on prednisone and an antibiotic today. Had a fever last night as well as this morning. No real chills/shakes with either one, so at least that part is getting better. I've felt better today than since I've been in here.

Dan,

Glad to hear you had a better day today. Let's get this figured out so you can come home soon and spend even better days climbing.

Hang in there and thanks for the update.

I think that Dan went home today. not sure if they figured it completely out, but it seems as if he's feeling a lot better!

Glad to hear that, Dan.  Well done! :)
Hope you and the docs figure out the root cause and get that treated!
