More thread drift!!

I guess I didn't realize any AZ's had actual houses.  I was a member of the AZ chapter at Purdue while I was there.  Never did much with it, don't really remember a damn thing about it.  I asked about AGR because it was the only ag-based frat that I knew of, but I certainly didn't subscribe to the Greek "system".  I was more involved with Alpha Phi Omega, but that was a service fraternity, again, without a house...

Back to the thread:

King Pine (for you small hill lovers) opens tomorrow.  Should be good early season mashed-potato skiiing. :D  Since we are only 10 minutes from there, we may go with the kids in the evening.

I skied a few runs at Wildcat yesterday morning, it was pretty good. I've never skiied at King Pine but I am glad they are open as I am only 10 minutes from there as well, and have a 3 year old who will be starting this winter, so King Pine should be a regular visit for us!

Conditions at Cannon have been amazing for so early. As of this morning they are fully open including the glades with only 20 of 80 trails groomed on mostly natural snow with great coverage!!!! Mittersill will be open by the weekend. I was skiing glades the day after Thanksgiving, if this is climate change bring it on. I have already had several powder days. ;D

My buddy Mikey skied the Cog yesterday, Thursday. They said that they got 10" of "freshies"!

Last weekend we skinned up to into Huntington ravine on plenty of snow. The Sherb was in very good shape (coverage-wise) for December. The ground is still pretty warm though.

Went to King Pine tonight and skied for a few hours.  Great 'late season' conditions for the end of December.  I'm not sure how many of the runs are open, but I'd guess between 1/2-2/3's.

If it matters to anyone, they are running a 4-pack of lift tickets for $58 from 4-9 pm on Saturdays and I think any day during holiday periods.  Pretty good deal!
