Yeah, L-Woods is good place .... Mack's Traverse, Neil's Lunge, Iron Cross just to name a few 'classics' there.

But, from I hear, P-way has become more popular the last few years.
I need someone to give me a tour of the moderate classics there!  :)

Moving from San Diego to Providence in 4 weeks.  Will Lincoln Woods be the best place in the area?  What other area recommendations might there be.  Gotta find a new bag of partners, too.

Whitey is still pulling down hard at L-Woods.  And don't let him tell you otherwise.
I still remember him giving me the (sandbag) 1st tour.  Scared myself silly on a tallish problem (before anyone had any crash pad that were any good).

I'd do it, my new brother in law is having his bachelor party on Saturday night.  Normally I would say that the strippers and coke would ruin my climbing day, but he and his friends are or are going to be college professor's.  Not exactly the crazy crowd.  Let me know and I'd love to represent the NE climbs south!

Isn't there also a printed Guide?

Prime season for LWoods is late Fall to early/mid Winter before the snow starts to pile up.

Lincoln is included in Kemple Jr's guide to NE Bouldering. Recently updated (2009).

Years ago, Whitey gave me a 'tour' of LWoods.  Unforgettable experience and thoroughly pumped after a couple of hours.  Great fun.
