Rock Area Index / Crag Y / Decepticon (5.10c)
|
A clean thin crack up an 80 degree face, just right of RASTER SCAN's peapod groove. Begin a few feet right of RASTER SCAN, on a more gently overhanging short wall. |
The first ascent party thought that this route would be easy, hence the name.
Pitch 1: Climb buckets up the short overhanging wall. Step up left to footholds at the base of the thin crack, and puzzle out its initial moves. After fifteen feet the crack widens slightly, and easier climbing leads to the top. 100', 5.10c
