Directions:  Park at the Arethusla Falls parking lot. Walk North on the Railroad Tracks until you come to the trestle. Follow a trail to the left just before the trestle trending right and all the way to the back of the "Amphitheatre." Chia is the large climb all the way at the back, on the right. The right-rising ramp is a dead give-away that you're in the right place.
Description: You can climb Chia in two short pitches, or a single long one with 60 meter ropes. The ramp is usually the easiest variation. The vertical curtain on the right side, Chia Direct, does at 4+.
Gear: Standard ice rack.
Descent: While some parties rappel the route, it is easy to walk off to the right and down the trail back to your packs. On sunny days be careful of falling ice, especially on the right-hand side.
History:  WInter 1971 - Sam Streibert and Dennis Merritt, 1971.
