Woodchuck Ledge (Eagle Ledge): Rock Routes grouped by Area, sorted by Name
Description: This is the home of the testpiece finger-crack Screaming Yellow Zonkers. Generations of climbers have called this delightful crag Woodchuck Ledge, however through the magic of (GPS) technology it has come to light that the crag is actually called Eagle Ledge! Regardless of what it's called, it's a great place to climb and amazingly easy to find. The views are great, it's sunny and warm and there is something for everyone.
Directions: Drive down Passaconaway road for 3.8 miles from the intersection with West Side Road. Park at a pullout on the right with a 'No Camping or Fires' sign by some small boulders. Follow the skidder-trail uphill (this is the steepest part of the whole hike!) and continue on a nice path for about 15 minutes to a small clearing. Look for a path leading off to the left parked by a small cairn and red blazes. The first cliff you come to is the left side of the crag.
