Rock Area Index / White's Ledge (Bartlett) / Especially When The October Wind Blows (5.8)
|
Start at a right facing corner, just left of Finesse and right of the bolted arete. |
A very nice climb with interesting moves on generally good rock.
Pitch 1: Climb the right facing corner to a slab, traversing right to a pine tree belay that is shared with Finesse.
Pitch 2: Step right from the belay and climb the small corner (5.8). Look for a ledge and keep ging to a right facing corner and belay there.
Pitch 3: Step left and traverse left past some flakes to a left-facing corner. Continue straight up over the ledge to another right-facing corner and belay there.
Pitch 4: Continue up the slabs to a belay below a headwall.
Pitch 5: Continue up a left facing corner to a tree ledge.
Pitch 6: A short pitch finishes off the climb.
