I had this INCREDIBLY busy week going on, 3 music gigs and 2 sessions, so no time to write a full report on Ice Fest, which was AMAZING. 30 years of an incredible celebration of this great sport that we all love. Kudos to Paul, Lisa, Rick, Celia and all the staff from IMCS and IME, the guides, the great presenters and all of you enthusiastic participants for a fantastic weekend in spite of the crazy weather. I'm already looking forward to 31!

Overall there is a LOT of ice out there right now. From everything I hear, the better conditions are in the sun where the ice can get plastic. Stuff in the. Shade is hard, brittle, and it's not getting refreshed like we all would like.

VALLEY CYCLING:
Lots of great riding on packed trails almost everywhere. Snowmobile trails are groomed & packed out now and the SnowDog groomer for the new trails in Bartlett is back in service and those trails are looking great.
